Colorado Convention Center

The Colorado Convention Center is a multi-purpose convention center located in Downtown Denver. The center opened in June 1990 the first event being the NBA Draft for the Denver Nuggets The convention center was expanded in 2004 to include several meeting rooms, two ballrooms and an indoor amphitheater. Since opening, the center hosts over 400 events per years.
Centrally located in Denver, the center has become one of Denver's many landmarks. The center is adjacent to the Denver Performing Arts Complex and the Emily Griffith Opportunity School. It is blocks away from the Colorado State Capitol, Auraria Campus and the 16th Street Mall. It is served by the RTD light rail station, Theatre District / Convention Center.

The Colorado Convention Center is located at 700 14th St  Denver, CO 80202.

    The big blue bear was fun to see. It was CRAZY! to read that they host around 400 events every year.

    Did you know the blue bear is hollow. Jared just kind of tapped it with his foot(kicked) but not hard and it made a weird noise.

    The inside of the convention was weird... There was barely anybody in it. It was so silent... Well the bear was awesome! I love how it looks through the window and it looks like it's paws are touching the windows! The feeling of the bear was weird though. It felt rough O.o

    Have you heard of StarFest its like a ComicCon but its about Si-Fi movies like Star Trek and Star Wars.

    I loved the Convention Center! I played a big volleyball tournament there. The big blue bear was really cool too.
