Denver Public Library

The Denver Public Library is the public library of the city of Denver, Colorado in the United States. Its administrative headquarters is on the seventh floor of the Central Library in Downtown Denver. In 2010, the library had 2,288,842 items in its collection and a library card base of 339,883 local residents. In addition to its Central facility, it has 23 branches and a bookmobile program.

Federal Reserve Bank

The Money Museum offers an opportunity to learn about the Federal Reserve Bank. And, best of all, it's free! Walk-ins are welcome and groups can make advance reservations. Photo ID required for visitors 18 and older. On your way out, don't forget to get your bag of shredded money.

Oxford Hotel

Designed by the architect Frank Edbrooke and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this is one of Denver's few hotels to have survived from the 19th century (another being the Brown Palace). The facade is simple red sandstone, but the interior boasts marble walls, stained-glass windows, frescoes, and silver chandeliers, all of which were restored between 1979 and 1983 using Edbrooke's original drawings. Antique pieces imported from England and France furnish the large rooms, which were created by combining smaller rooms during the restoration. No two units are alike (they're either Art Deco or Western Victorian in style), but all are equipped with one king-size or queen-size bed, individual thermostats, dressing tables, and large closets. An Art Deco gem, the Cruise Room Bar boasts perhaps the swankest cocktail atmosphere in Denver, and the spa is the largest in the area.

Sakura Square

Sakura Square (サクラスクエアー sakura sukueā) is a small plaza located on the north/east side of the intersection of 19th Street and Larimer Street in Denver, Colorado. The square contains busts of Ralph L. Carr, Governor of Colorado from 1939 to 1943, Minoru Yasui, a Japanese-American lawyer, and Yoshitaka Tamai (1900–1983), a Buddhist priest who lived in Denver. Sakura Square also has a small Japanese garden, and it serves as the entrance to the 20-story Tamai Tower apartment building that occupies most of the block. There are several shops and restaurants in the ground and first floors of the apartment building.

The Tabor Center

One Tabor Center is a 408 feet (124 m) tall skyscraper in Denver, Colorado. The building was completed in 1984 and has 30 floors. It is the 15th tallest building in Denver. Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates designed 669,000sq ft.

The Tabor Center is located on the 16th Street Mall and Larimer Street.

The Brown Palace Hotel

Brown Palace Hotel is the second-oldest operating hotel in Denver, Colorado and is one of the first atrium-style hotel ever built. It is now operated by Quorum Hotels and Resorts. It was built in 1892, one year later than the Oxford Hotel. It was named for its original owner, Henry C. Brown, and was designed with its odd triangular shape by architect Frank Edbrooke.
The hotel is located at 321 17th St, Denver, CO between 17th Street, Broadway and Tremont Street/Pl in downtown Denver behind the Republic Plaza. The main entrance door is on Tremont Street.

Byron White Court Building

The Byron White United States Courthouse is a courthouse of the United States District Court for the District of Colorado, and later of the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. Completed between 1910 and 1916, the building, U.S. Post Office and Courthouse was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.In 1994, it was renamed in honor of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Byron White (1917–2002) a native of Fort Collins, Colorado.

Denver Art Museum

The Denver Art Museum — DAM is an art museum located in the Civic Center of Denver, Colorado. The museum is one of the largest art museums between the West Coast and Chicago. It is known for its collection of American Indian art, and its other collections of more than 68,000 diverse works from across the centuries and world.

Market Street RTD Station

RTD Bus & Light Rail is a transit system in the Denver, Colorado metropolitan area. It is operated by the Regional Transportation District (RTD). It also includes 5 light rail lines with 36 stations and 35 miles (56 km) of track.

Denver City and County Building

After more than eight years of design and construction, the final cornerstone of Denver's City & County Building was laid in 1932.  The  completion of the grand, classical building culminated a 30-year process to define the Civic Center as the heart of city government and its cultural center. Set on the western edge of Civic Center and symmetrically aligned with its primary axis and that of the State Capitol, the City & County Building
completed Edward H. Bennett's 1917 master plan. It also marked the end of the City Beautiful era in Denver.

Civic Center Park

Civic Center is a neighborhood and park in Denver, Colorado. The area is known as the center of the civic life in the city, with numerous institutions of arts, government, and culture as well as numerous festivals, parades, and protests throughout the year. The park is home to many fountains, statues, and formal gardens, and includes a Greek amphitheater, a war memorial, and the Voorhies Memorial Seal Pond. It is well known for its symmetrical Neoclassical design.
